Overview

About this machine

Increase your excavator’s functionality by adding a hydraulic-powered stump cutter attachment, ideal for hard-to-reach areas such as slopes, riverbanks, or behind fences and stone walls.

The FSI H52 fits excavators and similar machines from 8-14 tons and an oil flow of 80-100 l/min for excavators, articulated mini loaders, skid steers, or similar machinery.

Top plate

The stump cutter come with an uncoated top plate for welding on a suitable attachment, ensuring the right fit for your excavator.

Simple movement

All operations such as sideways sweep and the up/down movement are executed using the familiar controllers of the excavator.

Heavy load handling

The FSI H52 model is designed with a double row tapered roller bearing system, that can handle heavy radial and axial loads for stable operation and protection of the bearings in the oil motor.

Less strain

A floating motor bracket with integrated vibrations absorbers reduces strain on the motor and bearings.

Financing the FSI H52 with Buckingham Leasing

The FSI H52 is a hydraulic stump grinder attachment from FSI, the Danish manufacturer whose machines are widely used by UK tree and grounds professionals. It suits contractors who already run a mini loader, compact loader or excavator and want to add stump grinding to that carrier without buying a separate powered machine.

Headline figures from the manufacturer: weight 220 kg, oil flow 80-110 l/min. Always check the latest data sheet with your dealer before ordering.

Ways to fund it

  • Hire purchase: spread the cost over a fixed term and own the FSI H52 at the end.
  • Finance lease: keep capital free and pay for the machine while it earns, with options at the end of the term.
  • Seasonal or stepped payments: shape repayments around busier winter and spring felling periods where lenders allow.
  • Refinance: release cash tied up in machinery you already own to help fund a new grinder.

Things to think about before you buy

  • Access widths and ground conditions on your typical jobs, as they decide between wheeled, tracked, pedestrian or attachment models.
  • Tooth and wear part costs, servicing intervals and dealer support near you.
  • How the grinder will be transported, including trailer weight limits and towing entitlement.
  • Whether new or used stock gives better value for your workload.

We arrange finance for new and used FSI stump grinders from £5,000 upwards, for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across the UK. Send us the dealer quote and we will come back with clear options in plain English.
